Guns N' Roses

   

    Guns N' Roses is an American hard rock band, formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1985. The

classic lineup, as signed to Geffen Records in 1986, consisted of vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist

Slash, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan, and drummer Steven Adler. The band

has released six studio albums, accumulating sales of more than 100 million albums worldwide,

including shipments of 45 million in the United States. They are maybe the most popular hrd rock

band.

    To me, they are truly one of rocks greatest bands. They brought a fresh new sound and look to the

80's rock mainstream that was, at that time, dominated by hair bands and men that dressed like they

were women. Axl Rose is a beautiful man. Although their lyrics and songs are full of dirty words

violent and sex, but the music stiil attracts me. They are really "true" on the stage and in their music.

    The first song is a legend song- Don't Cry. It stay on the Billboard for 3years (147 weeks). This is a

soft song.

Another song is Sweet Child O'Mine. It is talking about the lead singer, Axl Rose's love to her ex-

wife.
